Samugam<\/span><\/strong> is committed to the training of different skills for girls from impoverished families. In 2007, with the support of the Province of West-Vlaanderen, Belgium, Samugam<\/span><\/strong> established a free tailoring program within the community.<\/p>\n

Jally Clothing Studio<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

In 2013, a tailoring project supported by Australia, was established and it helps over 100 impoverished women to learn a skill. Over a period of six months, the women were provided with free tailoring training in addition to a gifted sewing machine.<\/div>\n
Now, skills gain through the \"Jally Clothing Studio<\/span><\/strong>\" program that helps to fuel women\u2019s empowerment by creating a place for them within the labor market.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
