Samugam is committed to the education of the underprivileged, the economic development of the oppressed class, the empowerment of the disabled and marginalized, and the rehabilitation of Leprosy patients and the physically challenged. All in all, we are devoted to the development and reintegration of the socially and economically ostracized people and the underprivileged children of India.
WHO WE WORK WITH
We are able to do the work with the support of donations given in cash and kinds. We rely on donors, individuals and various local organizations and we are grateful to them always. We look forward to more kind hearts to join hands with us in the noble cause of serving the less fortunate.
Our goal is to bring holistic development to the excluded communities of our region. We work towards this through…
Rehabilitation of the socially oppressed and suppressed; Running vocational training institutes for the deprived women; Conducting revolving income generation programs for the economic development of the poor people; Education for the underprivileged children; Medical and physical aid for the cured Lepers and disabled; Protection of children against child abuse and violence; Spearheading the fight for the right of the natives and indigenous people; Advocacy and networking with government departments and agencies for and on behalf of the socially neglected people.
I am a witness to the service of Samugam. I have thus dedicated my service to their programs."
It is absolutely amazing, and fruitful to be a part of Samugam. I have spent a few days with Samugam and I will always remember my time with great nostalgia. I was immensely impressed by the way the physiotherapy students are being trained at Samugam."
Bruno is one of the most caring individuals I have ever met. He gives everything to Samugam and the kids at Jaly Home. It is inspiring to see someone so passionate make this world a better place. My time spent volunteering with Samugam was unforgettable and I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to work with a great organization that still to this day inspires me."
I admire the work of my friends at Samugam. They live up to the Gospel values. The way that those afflicted with leprosy are treated by Samugam will inspire anyone in the world to live a meaningful life. May God bless all of the programs at Samugam."
