Breaking the Cycle of Exclusion Through Education & Care
Many families from nomadic and marginalized communities continue to live in extremely vulnerable conditions, with limited access to education, healthcare, sanitation, and stable income.
Children are often exposed to unsafe environments, poor hygiene, and a lack of educational opportunities — preventing them from building a secure future.
Beyond material poverty, these communities also face social exclusion and instability that can affect generations.
Samugam works closely with gypsy and marginalized communities in Pondicherry to improve living conditions, health awareness, and access to education.
