For more than 30 years, Samugam has been supporting vulnerable children, families, and marginalized communities. To secure the long-term future of this work, we are raising funds to purchase 4 acres of land near Puducherry and create a sustainable space for the communities we serve.
This land will become more than a physical space. It will be a place where children can learn from nature, families can find support, and communities can build greater self-reliance.
The future Samugam community space will help us:
Grow fruits and vegetables to improve food self-sufficiency and nutrition
Create nature-based learning opportunities where children can discover, learn, and develop new skills
Provide safe housing for vulnerable families in need
Organize camps and outdoor activities for children who have limited opportunities to experience nature
Develop a sustainable campus that strengthens Samugam's programs for generations to come
